OVERVIEW:
PCOS, or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, is a hormonal disorder that affects the female reproductive system. It is most commonly associated with the collection of cysts in the inner lining of the ovaries. This disorder can lead to a variety of negative mental and physical symptoms. Individuals with PCOS need an informative community that encourages an ideal lifestyle to manage harmful symptoms associated with the disorder.
SOLUTION:
Buddi offers an informative, safe space for individuals with PCOS to care for their bodies and connect with others who have also been diagnosed with the disorder. The campaign equates caring for one’s body to caring for a virtual garden composed of fruits and vegetables that relate to a PCOS diet.
WHAT
PCOS, or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, is a disorder that affects the mental, physical, and emotional health of an individual.
WHY
PCOS occurs due to a hormonal imbalance in the reproductive system. It affects roughly 1 in 10 women.
WHO
This campaign targets individuals ages 16-35 who have been recently or previously diagnosed with PCOS. It works to aid these people, whether their goals are to maintain a health life or build a family.
WHERE
Buddi advertising and content are best placed in or around places where the target audience may go looking for help managing PCOS, including minute clinics and OBGYN and fertility offices.
HOW
Most current PCOS resources focus on how the disorder relates to fertility. While this is important, the general approach to treating PCOS lacks the acknowledgment of general health and well-being information. Buddi aims to approach PCOS treatment by giving people the community and knowledge to care for their unique bodies.
